Economic sustainability

Economic sustainability is the fourth theme of our project.

It consists of four paths: footprint, consumption, sharing and conclusion paths.

FOOTPRINT PATH

Calculating the students’ own carbon footprint in class and calculating the families’ carbon footprint.

Final product: Photo collage which shows the students’ and families’ carbon footprint results.

CONSUMPTION PATH

Organize a visit to a local business or workshop which promotes sustainable ways of consumption or which deals with ecology. A solidarity market will be organized in the school to raise money to charity.

Final product: A video and a written report about the market event and the activities carried out before and after that day.

SHARING PATH (RUN FOR THE PLANET)

Each school will hold a run to raise awareness about climate change and to raise money to charity.

Final product: Photo collage about the run.

CONCLUSION PATH

Each country should gather all the materials, works or activities carried out throughout these two years. Each school will hold a closing Erasmus day with families and press.

Final product: Conclusion video summarizing everything worked and learnt in this project and about the closing Erasmus day.
